Feels like this leaking is scripted in to happen after that rally always because it doesn't start while on stage but only immidiately after I cut the finish line.Įdit: car broke down on the highway loop too (so it's not scripted and there's something terribly wrong in the car, probably best to start all over), after a one loop almost completed the oil pressure started to drop. I don't think satsuma would break down even if I would drive it once around highway loop at 120-140km/h average speed (highway loop is like 10km so it's longer than stage which is maybe 7,5km and with my time 5:41 on the stage means average speed was only 80km/h). I don't understand, is this leaking due to head gasket or other part failing scripted in to happen or is my mix, valve setting wrong or do I need to keep rpms like under 4k (or are the aftermarket exhaust and carburator needed too)?īefore this rally event I've only driven satsuma once to town to get it inspected and once to workshop to get rollcage installed. Still immidiately when I pass finish line the oil pressure on extra gauges starts to drop and after that water pressure, also a while later mix gauge value start to rise. I could do a test and keep rpms under 5k for the whole race and see what happens and what kind of time I can do.ĮDIT: Some testing done, I tried keeping revs under 5k for the entire rally and use 4th gear as much as I can (only at start with 1st gear revs were briefly over 5k, maybe it went to 7k because it's were easy stall the engine when keeping revs low), I was able to do a time 5:41 and be 1st. It could be impossible to win if I need to keep rpm even lower the whole time (maybe always under 6k) to prevent head gasket breakage.Īre those aftermarket exhaust and carburator needed so head gasket doesn't break on every race (if u aim for time around 5:40 to even have a chance winning it)? This happened two times in a row (first attempt was 5:47 and got 3rd place including a roll and 2nd attempt 5:40 and got 1st place). Fuel/air mix 14.7, valves are tuned by ear(to not make clicking sound), I kept rpm under 7,5k (usually shifting at 7,0k or less), did 5:40 time (2nd attempt). I've the aftermarket radiator, but exhaust and carburator are standard ones. Values where for the mix gauge 14.7-14.9, temp stayed around twelwo o'clock (80c or less), water pressure was close to 10-value(maybe 8-9?), oil pressure like on average 3,5 (it was bouncing little bit between 3-4 during gear changes). While it’s an aftermarket additive, some car manufacturers use it on new radiators to improve the seal between new radiator components.

All the gauges(mix, temp, water pressure, oil pressure) show fine values during the stage (not much change in them at least), but straight after the ace when I've collected prizes both water&oil pressures on the extra gauges just drop to 0 without any reason and mix gauge value starts to rise. What Is Radiator Stop Leak Radiator stop leak is a common additive that is designed to seal minor leaks in your radiator and leaks in-between components. I have coolant and oil leak issues after rally event.
